If you want to show your allegiance to Titanfall without dropping hundreds of pounds on a ridiculous yet undeniably awesome model mech, you could alternatively opt for the newly-revealed official controller. The orange-on-white styling is an acquired taste - we rather like it - but it pleasingly costs the same as a regular Xbox One wireless controller at GAME. For some reason I really fancy trying a white chocolate Jaffa Cake now. Do those exist?
Perhaps more excitingly, though, Titanfall has also quietly opened an alpha sign-up site - which EA has confirmed as legit [via NeoGAF]. Some Xbox One owners have apparently been personally invited to take part, but this is worth a shot if you're itching to try out one of the most anticipated games of the year - and haven't been moaning about the 6v6 player limit like a broken (and somewhat misinformed) record.
Titanfall's out on March 14th, though, so I'd read "last-minute stress test" instead of "alpha". Who's excited?
