XIII | £2.00 | Get Games | PC

XIII is one of the last generation's most exciting games, at least from a visual standpoint. Its cell-shaded visuals were a breath of fresh air at the time, and its story was extremely solid. Hell, the only cell-shaded FPS since is arguably The Darkness II (or Borderlands actually, thanks bbprang)!  Derivative gameplay and a few gripes held XIII back for true greatness, but if you want to see what all the fuss was about, Get Games will only charge £2.00 for the privilege.

Let's not forget, depending on how one defines "cel-shaded," which according to wiki states, "type of non-photorealistic rendering designed to make computer graphics appear to be hand-drawn" one could count Borderlands as an FPS of that visual style. Randy Pitchford stated early on that that the graphical change wasn't cel-shaded but one can see that the final build speaks for itself.

That's a fair point, well made.
