Yoshida: The Last Guardian Is "Alive And Kicking"

Here we go again.

Sony president of Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida told CVG that The Last Guardian is still under development, and going swimmingly.

“It’s alive and kicking in terms of development,” quoth Yoshida, “If you visit Japan Studio there are lots of people working on it.

“But as [designer Fumito Ueda] shared with people a couple of months ago, we really want to be confident next time when we introduce The Last Guardian to the public, so we are waiting for that time to come.”

So... TGS? The jury's still out on whether The Last Guardian will come to PS3 or PS4, but frankly either would be fine at this stage.

In case you can't remember or have completely stopped caring (or both), The Last Guardian is the long-awaited adventure from the studio behind ICO and Shadow Of The Colossus, starring a boy and his loveable beast who will probably die at the end, making us cry and think.

This is the game I bought a PS3 for, two years ago. Might be the game I buy a PS4 for as well. It had better be good...

If The Last Guardian skips the PS3 am I mistaken in thinking that Team Ico have skipped a whole generation of Playstation gaming?

Unless you count the Ico/SOTC HD collection, that is correct
